[For those who have not yet had a medical checkup] Additional regular student health checkups (Announcement)

For those who did not take the "Regular Student Health Checkup" held in April 2024, additional health checkups will be held on the following dates as a measure to provide an opportunity for students to take the checkup in order to maintain and promote their health in accordance with the School Health and Safety Act.
Therefore, in addition to taking an active role in managing your health and preventing and detecting illness early, students due to graduate may be required to obtain a health certificate in relation to job hunting or obtaining qualifications or licenses (including practical training), so be sure to get a medical examination during this additional implementation period.

Target Audience
Students who did not take the "Regular Student Health Check-up" conducted from April 9th (Tue) to April 12th (Fri), 2024
(Undergraduate and Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School enrolled in regular courses)

Inspection item
Height, weight, vision test, internal medical examination, urine test, chest X-ray,
Hearing test (for students in their third year of university or above, or in their second year Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School or above)
Color vision test (only for those in the applicable grade level: 3rd year university students and above, 2nd year Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School and above)

Precautions to take when visiting the clinic

  • Please be sure to bring your student ID and writing implements.
  • Please keep your valuables with you at all times.
  • Please allow yourself plenty of time when visiting the clinic.
  • On the day of the health check, you will be examined and undergo a chest X-ray, so please remove any accessories such as necklaces and prepare clothes that are easy to remove.
    Also, please wear a T-shirt, tank top, and thin underwear (without metal parts).
  • If you wear glasses or contact lenses, please bring them with you for your eyesight test.
  • Please avoid overeating or consuming excessive sugar (juice, etc.) before your health check.

Infection control and prevention measures

  • Wearing a mask is recommended.
  • Alcohol disinfectant will be installed at several entrances and exits to the venue, so please disinfect your hands frequently.
  • To prevent overcrowding, we will limit the number of people and organize queues, so please follow the instructions of staff.
  • While you are receiving treatment or waiting to be seen, please refrain from private conversations, remain quiet, and follow the instructions of staff.
  • You will be required to fill out a "health checkup individual card" at the examination venue. Please be sure to bring your own writing utensils to take measures to prevent infection.
    Please refrain from lending or borrowing writing utensils.
  • If you have a fever (higher than normal body temperature), loss of taste or smell, or any other concerns about your health, please contact Health Service Center in advance.

  • The health check result notice and health certificate will be issued based on the results of the medical examination for that year (around late May).
  • If the test results show any abnormalities, a health examination result notice and health certificate will be issued detailing the same.
  • Health certificates cannot be issued to students who have not undergone the university's regular health checkup.
  • Individuals will be responsible for their own expenses when visiting a medical institution.
